Stop getting sacked and stop doing these ADS!

Nothing is more embarrassing than when your hero or favorite athlete begins falling off the map in terms of impressiveness...

This just started happening for me as Aaron Rodgers started to become a sellout in my eyes.

Don't get me wrong...I'm a HUGE ARod fan and he is extremely socially responsible for teaming with Gruber to do this...but this just doesn't cut it for me!

Growing up, I don't remember Brett ever starring in ANY commercials---with the exception of the Wrangler commercials towards the end.

I don't know if Aaron is just trying to make a few bucks or if he honestly thinks it's a good idea to be on 12 different commercials airing every Sunday.  For me, I'd prefer if he stuck to throwing the ball!

By the way, GO PACK GO!

My new BF is Sobelmans! Oh wait...

Ever get on to Twitter and notice that you have a half-dozen Follower Requests?

Excited, you click the link only to find three or four companies trying to follow you.  It's quite the ego-booster when Sobelman's on Marquette's campus wants to follow you.  But there is a reason Sobelman's follows you and it's not because they're your new best friend.

According to Bill Stronge of Social Media Today, those companies or corporations are following you for one of two reasons.  Either that corporation is interested in what you're saying, or they expect you to follow them back--which would increase their popularity and their social media presence.

Companies hire individuals to sit on a tablet or computer all day and scan trends and Tweople who are talking about them and request to follow them hoping that in return they become interested in seeing the company on their Twitter feed.

It will be interesting in the near future to see what kind of statistics emerge on the effectiveness of these ads!

First post! Will there ever be 'enough?'

Here I am posting my first post here on broADly exPRessive!

It's becoming more and more difficult for advertisers to create interesting ad's, especially commercials, due to their prevalence and the tight regulations the FCC has on the content advertisers can run.  However, I saw the following ad this weekend and thought it was awfully creative.  The ad flirts with the 'inappropriate' line that the FCC checks for but is shockingly intriguing.

The commercial markets the vehicle due to its new innovative feature that warns the owner when the tires are filled just 'enough.'  The marketing and advertising team keep the viewer interested while showing relatable daily happenings but honking every few seconds.  Then at the end, they reveal the new feature and the voice-over explains it.

Commercials and ads like this one not only make the viewer chuckle, but they allow the viewer to learn of the new feature and perhaps become interested in the vehicle all together.

...if only I had that warning when I went to Vegas...
